With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald Edward Masters in Detroit, Michigan, born in Hancock, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 22, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Masters and Irene Masters (Laurin); his wife Esther Saatio; and his siblings, Bernard, Jack, Douglas, Russell, Roger, Shirley and Joan.
He is survived by: his sons, Ronald P. Masters of Houghton, MI, Kurt Masters (Heather) of Menominee, MI and Dr. Dean Masters (Jeri). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Memorial Chapel Funeral & Cremation Service - Hancock (1017 Quincy St, Hancock, MI 49930). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
