He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Sloan and Julia; and his siblings, Stanley and Suzanne. He is survived by: his wife Jane; his children, Jillian (Christopher Yost), Katherine and David (Elizabeth); his grandsons, Adam, Caleb, Jonah Yost, Connor and Colin Sloan; and his friend Chuck.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Aloysius Parish (1234 Washington Blvd, Detroit, MI 48226).
