With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kathleen Elizabeth Barbaro of Macomb, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 7, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles McDonald and Margaret McDonald. She is survived by: her husband Peter Barbaro; her daughters, Angela Flores (Jaime) and Theresa Manning; her grandchildren, Antonio Marra (Samantha), Gina Marra, Isabella Flores, Kain Manning, Noel Manning (Carson) and Chloe Manning; her great grandchildren, Enzo Marra, Ezio Marra, Elani Marra, Aurora Manning and Ophelia Manning; and her brother Charles McDonald.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wasik Funeral Home, Inc. (49150 Schoenherr Rd, Shelby Twp, MI 48315). A rosary will be held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. The lying in state will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church (48115 Schoenherr Rd, Shelby Twp, MI 48315). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (25800 W 10 Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48033).
