With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eleanor D. Barker of Saint Clair Shores, Michigan, who passed away on September 7, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Eleanor departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Eleanor may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Eleanor leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Robert Barker (Pamela), Desiree Barker, Rankin Barker, Joanne, Birgit and Pat.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the A. H. Peters Funeral Home (20705 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
