He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jack Nikkila and Dolly Nikkila; his siblings, Kurt, Steven (Janet), Jeffrey (Barb) and Laurel; and his siblings' children, Lynne (Paul), Sonja (Cameron), Ben Sands (Tracey), Cory (Stacey), Leila Sands, Jonathan (Natalie), Madeline, Kyle Sands and Quinn Sands. He was also cherished by his aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thayer-Rock Funeral Home (33603 Grand River Ave, Farmington, MI 48335). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
