He is survived by: his children, Stephen Matyaszek (Margaret) and Michelle Matyaszek; his grandchildren, Harvey Oliver III, Ashlie Oliver, Jordan Neal, Justin Neal, Brittney Neal, Courtney Matyaszek, Amy Meddings, Amanda Matyaszek, Stephen Matyaszek Jr., Chet Kelly and Tabitha Kelly; his great grandchildren, Ariana, Ashtyn, Amaryllis, Micah, Oaklee, Averleigh and Camryn; his sisters, Joann, Juanita, Janet and DeeDee; and his former wife Kathryn.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Allen Park Chapel - Martenson Family (10915 Allen Rd, Allen Park, MI 48101). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM and at 12:15 PM at the St. Hedwig Cemetery (23755 Military Rd, Dearborn Heights, MI 48127).
