She was predeceased by: her parents, Alene Davis and Richard Westfield Nebel; her son Edward Nebel Hansen; her husband Richard Hansen of Detroit; her parents-in-law, Bertha Hansen and Ede Hansen; her siblings, Judith Nebel, Richard William Nebel and Nancy Palmer; and her siblings-in-law, Philip Palmer, Donald Hansen and Jean Hansen.
She is survived by: her children, Karl Hansen (Michelle), Philip Hansen and Mary Flanigan (James Michael); her brother Charles Erwin Nebel (Mary); her brother-in-law Leonard Hansen (Paula); her grandchildren, Sarita Hansen, Sabine Hansen, Sophie Hansen, Eleanor Flanigan, James Patrick Flanigan and Richie Flanigan; her sibling's children, Jennifer Carmody, Ted Hansen (Jen), John Hansen (Kate), Andrew Hansen (Alba), Kelly Nebel, Charles Cameron Nebel (Denise), Lauri Cullen (Joseph), Mark Nebel, Richard Wallace Nebel (Jamie), William Palmer and Camie Conklin (Chris); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Calvin Carmody, Nate Carmody, Spencer Carmody, Andrew Hansen, Annika Hansen, Owen Hansen, Joy Hansen, Marguerite Weinert (Joel), Mark Cullen, Kyle Christian (Samantha), Cameron Nebel (Amber), Keegan Nebel (Leanne), Chase Nebel, Kane Nebel, Isabella Nebel, Cole Nebel, Ava Nebel, Isabelle Nebel, Larsen Nebel, Brian Palmer, Owen Palmer, Quinn Palmer, Lucy Jo Palmer, Emma Conklin and Jack Conklin; Theodore Weinert, Jones Christian, Ripley Christian, Jace Nebel and Eleanora Weinert.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the United Methodist Church of Munising (312 Lynn St, Munising, MI 49862). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the United Methodist Church of Munising, Michigan (312 Lynn St, Munising, MI 49862). During the polio pandemic, her summers were spent with family at Doe Lake.
