He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd and Margaret; his wife Frances Swenskowski; and his siblings, Beatrice, Jordan and Marvin.
He is survived by: his daughters, Carol Mau (Erich) and Pat Butts (Tom); his granddaughters, Kelly Mau, Lindsay Parata (Jarrad), Katelyn Marrett (Craig) and Rachel Macak (Jon); and his great grandchildren, Audrey, Austen and Isabel.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A rosary will be held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel (7425 M-36, Brighton, MI 48139). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (711 Rickett Rd, Brighton, MI 48116). The military honors will be held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (25800 W 10 Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48033).
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Wounded Warriors Project, St. Patrick Catholic Church, and the Hamburg Senior Center.
