He is survived by: his wife Margie Sheridan Roland; his children, Beth Sheridan-Denlar Lafferty, Philip Roland, Sean Roland, Jamie Roland and Brandon Jamerson; his grandchildren, Aidan Lafferty, Jacob Lafferty, Fiona Lafferty, Nathan Jamerson and Emily Jamerson; and his siblings, Dolores Roland Sarasin and John Roland.
Visitation was held on Friday, June 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Verheyden, Inc. (7100 Michigan Ave, Detroit, MI 48210). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, June 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Woodmere Cemetery (9400 W Fort St, Detroit, MI 48209).
