He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sons, Christopher Buchanan (Gigi) and Michael Buchanan; his grandchildren, Emily Grace, James DeShaun, Andrew Robert and Eliana Jovan; and his siblings, Eileen McFarland, James (Bev), Kathy McNamara (Paul), Patty Meshew (Andy), Maureen Buchynski and Peggy Lee Robert McElmeel (The Late). He was also cherished by many Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 23rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, June 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the R. C. Aleks & Son Funeral Home, Inc. (1324 Southfield Rd, Lincoln Park, MI 48146). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, June 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
