He was predeceased by: his parents, Seenithamby Kathiramar and Kanagammah Thambapillai. He is survived by: his wife Komaladevi Nagalingam; his children, Manoja Gopalan (Rameswaran Nadarasa), Renokanthan Gopalan (Bhiravi Nadarajah), Priyatharshan Gopalan (Sindhujha Priyatharshan) and Mithurjan Gopalan; his siblings, Vishualingam, Rasamani and Valliyammai; and his grandchildren, Mithran and Durga.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Branch Brook Memorial (101 Union Ave, Belleville, NJ 07109).
