He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Archer and Dorothy Ruch; and his siblings, Joan, Tom and Genevieve.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Shanahan; his children, Maureen (John), Geraldine, Brian (Gina) and Siobhain (Matt); his grandchildren, Lauren, Matthew (Katrina), Jake, Mairead, Molly, Emily, Cate and Elizabeth; and his siblings, Patricia, David and Robert.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home (345 Main St, Chatham, NJ 07928). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick Church (85 Washington Ave, Chatham Township, NJ 07928). A committal service will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (340 Ridge Rd, North Arlington, NJ 07032).
