The memory of Bessie Vardas of Berkeley Heights, New Jersey, who passed away on April 30, 2025 at the age of 85, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Paikos; her parents, Haralambos Michalis and Orsalia Michalis; and her siblings, Tommy, Nota and Eleni.
She is survived by: her sons, Dimitrios and Harry Vardas; her grandchildren, Paikos, Sophia, Christopher, Michael, Nicholas and Christa; her daughter-in-law Joanna Vardas; and her niece Effie Maroulis.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Paul Ippolito Summit Memorial (7 Summit Ave, Summit, NJ 07901). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church (250 Gallows Hill Rd, Westfield, NJ 07090).
