With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Evelyn Helen Carlstrom of Flanders, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 30, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alcibiades Hechavarria and Helen Hechavarria. She is survived by: her husband Charles Carlstrom; her sons, Charles Carlstrom (Shirin), Mark Carlstrom (Annika) and Todd Carlstrom (Michele); her grandchildren, Jonathan (Rachel), Parsa, Bahar, Stephen (Ross), Brian, Christopher and Phoebe; her great grandchildren, Natalie, Ana, Benjamin and Evelyn; and her sister Laura McGovern.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the William J. Leber Funeral Home (15 Furnace Rd, Chester, NJ 07930). A Mass will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church (61 Main St, Flanders, NJ 07836).
