Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Joseph Clayton Simpkins (Stratford, New Jersey), who passed away at the age of 80, on May 7, 2025. Though Joseph Clayton may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joseph Clayton touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Simpkins and Anna Simpkins; and his siblings, Elizabeth, Samuel and John.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy L. Simpkins (Marshall). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Eugene J. Zale Funeral Home, Inc. (712 N White Horse Pike, Stratford, NJ 08084). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at the Locustwood Memorial Park (1500 Marlton Pike W, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034).
