She is survived by: her significant other James; her children, James Joseph Murphy III (Jennifer), Sheila Blochlinger (Robert), John Murphy (Trudy) and Colleen Stinton (Brian); and her sister Theresa Grady. She is also survived by her eleven grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home (155 South Ave, Fanwood, NJ 07023). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Helen's Church (1600 Rahway Ave, Westfield, NJ 07090). A burial will be held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (340 Ridge Rd, North Arlington, NJ 07031).
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations to be made in Dorothy's name to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.
