We are sad to announce that on August 11, 2025, at the age of 83, Manuel Silva of South River, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Pereira and Maria Jesus. He is survived by: his wife Maria Evangeline Silva of South River; his children, Liliana Silva of Linden, Dario Silva (Sonia) of Elizabeth and Luciana Silva of South River; and his grandchildren, Brianna, Ines, Emanuel, Miguel, Tiffany, Joel, Justino and Richard.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Maliszewski Funeral Home (218 Whitehead Ave, South River, NJ 08882). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at the Chestnut Hill Cemetery (848 Old Bridge Turnpike, East Brunswick, NJ 08816).
It is the family's request that no flowers be sent to Manuel's service. Instead, please make a donation in Manuel's memory to the American Cancer Society at http://www.cancer.org.
