We are sad to announce that on August 12, 2025, at the age of 79, Joseph F. Althamer of North Caldwell, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Joseph leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Joseph may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine (Kenny); and his siblings, John F. Althamer and Elizabeth A. Althamer. He is survived by: his daughter Kristen Koch (Robert); and his granddaughter Cathleen.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shook-Farmer Funeral Home (45 Roseland Ave, Roseland, NJ 07068). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Saint Aloysius R. C. Church (219 Bloomfield Ave, Caldwell, NJ 07006).
