With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Makoski of Bayville, New Jersey, born in Orange, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 15, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Nancy leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Nancy may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hughes and Christine Blasie Hughes. She is survived by: her husband Steven Makoski; her children, Daniel Makoski (Kristen) and Elizabeth Piccirillo (Louis); her siblings, William Hughes (Dorothy) and Elizabeth Tempel (James); and her grandchildren, Christine, Sarah, Juliette and William.
