It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Francis Toolen of Brick, New Jersey, who passed away on August 21, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Margot Ann Toolen. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Ann Toolen and John Timothy Toolen (Elizabeth Ann); his grandchildren, Julia Elizabeth, Devin Claire and John Owen Toolen; and his siblings, Peter, Genevieve and Penelope.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Memorial (113 S Farview Ave, Paramus, NJ 07652). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 24th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the George Washington Memorial Park (234 Paramus Rd, Paramus, NJ 07652).
