With solemn reverence, we commemorate Dolores Shea of Brick, New Jersey, born in Orange, New Jersey, whose life came to an end on August 18, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Tom Shea; her parents, Angie Fernicola and Anthony Fernicola; and her siblings, Tony Fernicola and Louise Fernicola.
She is survived by: her children, Cathy Shea (Russ Molloy) of Manasquan, Tom Shea (Jackie) of Clinton Township and Colleen Fischer (Rick) of Vero Beach, Florida.; her grandchildren, Kristen Molloy (Sean Coit), Caroline Dau (Bryan), Kelly Molloy (Trevor Seward), Julianne Shea, Richard Fischer (Bridget Donahue), Matthew Fischer and Brian Fischer (Sammy); and her great grandchildren, Jack Dau, Jane Fischer, Maeve Coit, Grace Dau and Isla Rose Fischer.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Brien Funeral Home (2028 NJ-35, Wall Township, NJ 07719). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Denis Church (90 Union Ave, Manasquan, NJ 08736).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org), a charity that Dolores supported.
