It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Andreas Diakos (Union, New Jersey), who passed away on August 25, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Panagiota; his children, George, Frank and Sophia; his grandchildren, Maria, Andreas Diakos, Vasilios and Panagiota Mikros; and his sisters, Fanny Hatziantoniou, Sophia Stavrakis and Maria Logotheris.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Saint Demetrious Greek Orthodix Church (721 Rahway Ave, Union, NJ 07083). A prayer will be held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fairview Cemetery (1100 E Broad St, Westfield, NJ 07090).
