With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Irene C. Wodkiewicz Wheat of Clark, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 31, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Irene's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Irene's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may she find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Lawrence K. Wheat; her parents, John C. (Felicia J. Wodkiewicz) and Irene; and her godchildren, Mia Niemiec, John Puchnowski, Angela Zhuo and Ryan Zhuo.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 8th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Galante Funeral Home-Union (2800 Morris Ave, Union, NJ 07083). A Mass will be held on Monday, September 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Agnes Church (332 Madison Hill Rd, Clark, NJ 07066). A burial will be held on Monday, September 8th 2025 at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936).
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Felician Sisters, 260 S. Main St. Lodi, NJ 07644, or to St. Joseph Senior Home, 1-3 St. Joseph Terr.
