She was predeceased by: her parents, John Pugh and Elizabeth Pugh of Freehold; her former husband Richard E. Tilton; and her grandsons, Joshua and Chi-Chi.
She is survived by: her husband J. Peter Certo; her children, Anne Wagar (Peter) of Nashville, TN, Richard Tilton (Mark) of Interlaken, NJ, John Tilton of Beaufort, SC and Christopher Tilton (Heather) of Ocean, NJ.; and her grandchildren, Avery, Corey, Christian, Payge, Brooke, Jacob and Ryan.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fiore-Buckley Funeral Home (236 Monmouth Rd, Oakhurst, NJ 07755). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (1201 Asbury Ave, Asbury Park, NJ 07755).
Memorial donations may be made to the Mental Health Association of Monmouth County in her honor.
