The passing of Mary Ellen Kavalus of Toms River, New Jersey leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on September 2, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Joseph L. Kavalus; her parents, Anne Eikamp and Harold G. Eikamp; her brother Timothy H. Eikamp; and her sister-in-law Mary Beth Eikamp.
She is survived by: her children, Matthew, Meghan, Michael and Kaitlyn; her grandchildren, Clayton, Summer and Joseph; her siblings, Thomas H. Eikamp and JoAnn Myers; and her brothers-in-law, John Myers (Kathleen Battaglia) and John Battaglia. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dooley Funeral Home (218 N Ave W, Cranford, NJ 07016). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Apostle Church (1805 Penbrook Terrace, Linden, NJ 07036).
