It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Charles Magathan of Neptune, New Jersey, who passed away on September 4, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Magathan and Mildred Magathan. He is survived by: his wife Margie Wathen Magathan; his children, Marcia Magathan (Andrew Davis Sr.), Gloria Vitello (Joe Vitello Jr.), Darren Osborne and Jason Wathen (Jennifer Wathen); his grandchildren, Nikki Vitello, Joseph Vitello, Dominic Vitello, Taylyn Wathen, Kynlee Wathen, Elizabeth Miller, Michael Osborne and Connor Osborne; and his brothers, Ronald Magathan (Marie Magathan) and John Magathan (late Diana Magathan). He is also survived by in-laws, Godchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ely Funeral Home (3316 NJ-33, Neptune City, NJ 07753). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery (350 Province Line Rd, Wrightstown, NJ 08562).
