She was predeceased by: her parents, George Scherer and Viola Scherer (Steitz). She is survived by: her husband Robert Dillon; her children, Nancy Dillon-Thompson and Robert W. Dillon, Jr. (Branka); her grandchildren, Matthew Thompson (Meghan), Bryan Thompson, Allyson Dillon and Jacquelyn Dillon; her great grandchild Dean; her brother George E. Scherer; and her sibling's children, James Dillon, Steven Dillon, Dawn Dillon, George V. Scherer and Andrea Scherer.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home (150 Landing Rd, Landing, NJ 07850). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Stanhope Union Cemetery (1 Continental Dr, Netcong, NJ 07857).
