He was predeceased by: his significant other Carol DeFranco Blanchfield; his parents, Herbert Jude Blanchfield and Virginia Clare Blanchfield (Powers); and his siblings, Dennis Blanchfield, Herbert W. Blanchfield and Maureen Blanchfield.
He is survived by: his daughter Theodora Blanchfield (Calif) of Santa Monica; his sisters-in-law, Lee Smith Blanchfield and Geraldine DeFranco Hilla; and his sibling's children, Karen Blanchfield White, Elizabeth Blanchfield, Sharon Evanchuck and Edward Hilla.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial (530 High Mountain Rd, Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Most Blessed Sacrament (787 Franklin Lake Rd, Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417).
