She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Burack and Angela Burack. She is survived by: her husband Jim; her children, Elizabeth Sorrentino (Nicholas) and Andrew (Sheva); her grandchildren, Nicholas, Kerry and Kevin; and her siblings, Richard and Barbara Alfano. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dooley Colonial Home (556 Westfield Ave, Westfield, NJ 07090). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Saint Helen's Roman Catholic Church (1600 Rahway Ave, Westfield, NJ 07090).
In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations may be made to her preferred charity, Doctors Without Borders.
