Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Virginia Mulvaney of Cranford, New Jersey, born in Newport, Rhode Island, who passed away at the age of 87, on April 19, 2026. She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Mulvaney; her sisters, Bette Moffat and Norma Mills; and her parents, Helen Mills and John Edwin Mills.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Mulvaney of Toms River, John Mulvaney (Maria) of Red Bank and Jill (Brian O'Neill) of Cranford; her grandchildren, Katie, Nicole, Andrew, Rachel, Raymond, Johnny and Kelly; her great grandchildren, Claire, Mary Kate, Nolan, Eleanor, Abigail and Phoebe; and her nieces, Janis Thorpe and Robin Graham.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dooley Funeral Home (218 N Ave W, Cranford, NJ 07016). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Annes Catholic Church (325 2nd Ave, Garwood, NJ 07027).
