He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Townley and Dorothy Townley; his daughter Anna Townley; his grandchildren, Skylar, Ashton Townley of Houston, Jameson, Philippa and Genevieve Townley of Houston, Texas; his sister Sharon Townley of Abilene, Texas; and his brothers-in-law, Mike Bogard (Mary Ruth) of Gatesville and Greg Bogard (Judy) of Junction, Texas..
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Bogard of San Saba; and his sons, Marc Townley (Erin) and David Townley.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lloyd James Funeral Home (1011 E 1st St, Tyler, TX 75701). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
