She was predeceased by : her parents, Vaclav Smajstrla and Bozena Smajstrla (Ruzicka); her husband Raymond Sustala; her daughters, Jeanette Marie and Elizabeth Josephine Sustala; her sisters, Margaret Klaus, Mary Olsovsky and Martha Neill; and her son-in-law James J. Kolar.
She is survived by : her children, Billy Sustala (Nancy) of Abbott, David Sustala (Betty) of Brandon, Karen Kolar of Abbott, Dennis Sustala (Mary Jane) of Abbott and Shirley Russell (Tim) of Abbott; her grandchildren, Phil Sustala (Kim), Jennifer Reid (Bobby), Stephanie Tucker (Brandon), Laura Moore (Blake), Jeremy Kolar (Jennifer), Jaimie Gray (Marcus), Kaylie Matula (Nick), Candice Janek (Shorty), Craig Sustala (Wendy), Shellie Green (Tyler), Matthew Sustala, Jessica Pope (Hunter) and Jared Russell; her great grandchildren, Sydney, Kennedy (Tristen), Landry, Mackenzie, Mabry, Weston, Riley, Seth, Avery, Travis, Brylee, Blaire, Denton, Reese, Eleanor, Jace (Victoria), Jocelyn, Tyler, Mason, Jaxon and Zane; and her great great grandchild Kaspian. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A rosary will be held on Sunday, January 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel (808 S Reagan St, West, TX 76691). A mass of christian burial will be held on Monday, January 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (601 W Houston St, Abbott, TX 76621).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church or to the West Volunteer Ambulance Association.
