It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Kissee (La Vernia, Texas), born in Longview, Washington, who passed away on January 5, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Hillis C. Kissee and Elsie Perschke (Koch); his step-father Eugene Perschke; and his brothers, Jerry and Robert Kissee.
He is survived by : his wife Jane Kissee (Getka); his children, Leanna of Kenosha, WI, Matthew (Nora Claire) of Cibolo, TX, Scott (Tara) of San Antonio, TX, Jennifer of San Antonio, TX and Jeffrey (Jessica) of Stockdale, TX; and his siblings, Donald (Paulette) of Necedah, WI and Sueann Muir (Keith) of Afton, TN. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandsons.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Finch Funeral Chapel (13767 U. S. Hwy 87 W, La Vernia, TX 78121). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209). A burial will be held on Tuesday, January 23rd 2024 at 2:15 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the veterans' support group of your choice in memory of Ronald.
