It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Peery of Kilgore, Texas, who passed away on January 7, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan Peery to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Hugh Harry Maurer and Gaynell Freda Rice (William Joseph Peery). She is survived by : her sons, Bill Peery (Sheri) of Longview, Paul Peery (Lynn) of Kilgore, Mark Peery (Stacy), John Peery of Overton, James Peery of Overton, Pat Ahumada of Brownsville, Jose Benavides of Bastrop and Rich Johnstone (Rhonda) of Mill Valley, California; and her sister Iris Maurer of Maryland. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family members.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 11th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rader Funeral Home (401 N Martin St, Kilgore, TX 75662). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home (401 N Martin St, Kilgore, TX 75662).
