He was predeceased by : his parents, David P. Slaughter and Margie Ruth Slaughter (Frye); and his siblings, David P. Slaughter Jr. and Carol Sample. He is survived by : his significant other Sharon Slaughter; his children, Ryan Slaughter, Ashley Magar (Roland), Teresa Dudley (Keith Parks) and Angela Ottwell; his grandchildren, Justin Magar, Kaylin Magar, Austin Magar, Brooklin Magar, Tyler Pellman, Alyssa Pellman, Brianne Ottwell and Dylan Ottwell; his great grandchildren, Paislee Tyree and Noah Pellman; and his brother Jerry Orr (Dana).
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Waldo Funeral Home Chapel (619 N Travis St, Sherman, TX 75090). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
