He is survived by : his wife Linda Watson Starnes; his children, Rhonda Starnes Bruner (Wayne) of Bryan and Rodney Starnes (Shelly) of Paradise; his grandchildren, Hudson Hopkins of Texarkana, Lance Gray (Meghan) of San Diego, Henslie Starnes of Fort Worth, Jackson, Morgan Bruner of Bryan, Jonathan, Jacob and Jonah Chagoya of Paradise; his sister Gail Boone (Carlton) of Brownsville; and his friends, James and Dawn Lanham of Gatesville. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Scott's Funeral Home (2425 E Main St, Gatesville, TX 76528). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 13th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, January 13th 2024 from 3:45 PM to 4:00 PM at the Restland Cemetery (2201 Waco St, Gatesville, TX 76528).
