She was predeceased by : her parents, Truman W. Dewees and Betty Mae Brackeen Dewees; and her former life partner Randy Rankin. She is survived by : her husband F. Wayne Whitehead of Wills Point, TX; her children, Rusty Rankin (Lori) of Canton, TX and Pam Emerson (Wade) of Wills Point, TX; her brothers, Steve Dewees (Mary Jane) of Westville, FL and Ronnie Dewees (Dallas) of Westville, FL.; and her grandchildren, Cassie McDaniel (Tyler), Kylie Simmons (Garrett), Rustin Rankin (Sheigh Cassidy), Colton Cook (Hollie), Shane King (Jennifer) and Lindy Dodgen (Scott).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Release Fellowship Baptist Church (1778 Goodnight Blvd, Wills Point, TX 75169). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations to New Release Fellowship Baptist Church or to the Wills Point ISD Education Foundation.
