It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Sandifer of Waskom, Texas, born in Huttig, Arkansas, who passed away on January 10, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Elvie Stinson and Maudie May Stinson; her daughter Patricia Blake; and her siblings, Fred Stinson, Ray Stinson, Mildred Hartsfield and Peggy Shewmake.
She is survived by : her husband Johnny Sandifer; her daughters, Debbie Lewis (John) and Donna Turley (Herbert); her brother William Stinson (Patricia); and her grandsons, Korey Wallace (Ingrid), Jay Wallace, Christopher Lewis (Jessica), Cody Lewis (Magen) and Travis Blake. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 16th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home (2500 Southside Dr, Shreveport, LA 71118). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Rose Neath Funeral Homes - Shreveport Southside (2500 Southside Dr, Shreveport, LA 71118). A burial will be held on Wednesday, January 17th 2024 at the Forest Park West Cemetery (4400 Meriwether Rd, Shreveport, LA 71109).
