It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sara Hunter Smith Simons of Tyler, Texas, who passed away on January 11, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Ray Augustus Smith and Lulu D Hunter Smith; her husband Watson Townes Simons, Sr.; her son Watson Townes Simons, Jr.; and her sister Cynthia Smith Simons.
She is survived by : her daughter Sally Simons Molinari (Stephen) of Dallas; her sister-in-law JoAnn Simons; and her caregivers, Imagale Roland, Clemmeka Starks, Marge Reeves, Shanta Butler and Sherria Gee. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Marvin Methodist Church (300 W Erwin St, Tyler, TX 75702).
