She was predeceased by : her parents, Manuel Avila and Ofelia Avila; her husband Frederico P. Gomez; and her siblings, Mary Skelton and Manuel Avila Jr..
She is survived by : her children, Lee Gomez, Chris Gomez (Nina), Rene Gomez (Susie) and Martie Ramirez; and her grandchildren, Kayla Gomez, CJ Gomez, Zack Gomez, Lee Gomez Jr. Tyler Gomez, Sebastian Ramirez, Chris Gomez Jr. and Daniel Gomez. She is also survived by four great granddaughters and eight sisters.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 22nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM and at 9:00 PM at the Peacful Garden Funeral Home (116 W 4th St, Pecos, TX 79772). A prayer will be held on Monday, January 22nd 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, January 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church. A burial will be held on Tuesday, January 23rd 2024 from 3:15 PM to 12:15 AM at the Barstow Cemetery W County.
