She was predeceased by: her husband Wilbur Bentley; and her son John Warren Bentley. She is survived by: her daughter Janet Bentley of Magnolia, Texas; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Taylor, Erin Bentley (Frank Esser), Lori Wright (Douglas), Sarah Kurten (Eric) and Travis Buchanan; and her great grandchildren, Cheryl Murray, Emmie Taylor, Ashley Wright, Taylor Wright, Alexis Wright, Christian Buchanan, Easton Murphy and Granger Duke. She is also survived by numerous great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 1st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapelwood Funeral Home (1015 N Kings Hwy, Nash, TX 75569). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery (5101 W 7th St, Texarkana, TX 75501).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Highland Park Baptist Church 1000 S. Bishop Street, Texarkana, TX 75501.
