It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lila Cheatham in Tyler, Texas, born in Vinton, Louisiana, who passed away on January 16, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy Columbus and Margie Adiline Aldridge (Barber); and her husband Tom Cheatham. She is survived by : her sons, Ted (Lyn Cheatham) of Lindale, Tony (Jane Cheatham) of Lindale and Ricky (Karen Cheatham) of St. Paul, Missouri; her grandchildren, Christian Cheatham, Garric Cheatham, Lauren Lowe, Tevin Cheatham, Amy Cheatham and Jarrod Cheatham; and her sister Faye (Larry Cook). She is also survived by four great grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home (206 W South St, Lindale, TX 75771). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
