He was predeceased by : his mother Pauline Thompson; his son David "Pete" Goodman; and his granddaughter Nina Marie Goodman. He is survived by : his wife Mary Louise Babb Goodman of Texarkana, Texas; and his children, Tracy Goodman (Stephanie) of Nash, Stephen Goodman (Amy) of Cedar Hill, Texas, Teresa Webb (Joe) of Fouke, Barbara Francis (Kelly) of Redwater and Stephanie Goodman of Texarkana, Texas. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 25th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapelwood Funeral Home (1015 N Kings Hwy, Nash, TX 75569). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Chapelwood Funeral Home Chapel (1015 N Kings Hwy, Nash, TX 75569). A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Restland Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the Hillcrest Baptist Church, Texarkana, Texas.
