He was predeceased by : his brother Jerry Thompson; his parents, Wilburn "Bill" Thompson and Isla Mae Thompson; and his sister Sandra Glover. He is survived by : his daughters, Kimberly Hice (Gary Hice) of Valley View and Tamera Sheil (Arnold Felix) of Sudlersville, Maryland.; his grandson Alex Hice (Rachel) of Aubrey, TX; his great grandchildren, Gabriel and Lily; his grandson Tyler Chance Hice (Shelby) of Justin, TX; his great grandchildren, Isabella and Daniel; his grandson Andrew Hice of Norman, OK; and his great grandchildren, Blakelynn and Rowan.
The military honors will be held on Tuesday, January 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
