She was predeceased by : her parents, Minnie Lee Bradley and George Lewis; her husband Elworth James Wilcox Sr.; her siblings, Rosa, George, Isaac, Joe, Colbert and Billy; and her children, Gregory and Linda Turner.
She is survived by : her daughters, Sheila Turner (Lee) and Felicia Darden-Potts (Mark); her sister Minnie Cook; her grandchildren, Samantha Sumlin, Chloe'Turner, Briea Sumlin and Eden Brunson; her great grandchildren, Jadyn Shankle, Chase Sumlin, Phoenix Ward and Ariya Ward; her great-nieces and great-nephews, La Keisha Poullard, Adam Marshall, Z'Kyra Robinson and Zayden Jones; and her friends, Archie Ruth and Lillian Bealer. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Carnes Funeral Home - CTC (3100 Gulf Fwy, Texas City, TX 77591). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 27th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Carnes Funeral Home (3100 Gulf Fwy, Texas City, TX 77591).
