He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Ray Abbott and Betty Duane Head; his granddaughter Avery Ladon Abbott; and his siblings, Randy Abbott, Wendy Stewart and Connie Warrick.
He is survived by : his wife Beth Abbott; his daughters, Tammy Wilkins (Bryan) and Judy Jenkins (Michael "Stretch" Jenkins); his grandchildren, Alexus Abbott, Austin Montez of Monahans, Kinley Harper, Riley of Palestine, Elizabeth Kozlovsky, Frank Cisneros of Tyler and Gretchen Kozlovsky of Murchison; his great grandchild Elio Cisneros of Tyler; and his siblings, Duana Gray, Terry of Malakoff, Charles Ray Abbott "Timer" and Alex Stewart of Corsicana. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 28th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Autry's Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home (1910 E Tyler St, Athens, TX 75751). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 29th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
