She is survived by : her daughters, Jennifer Cortez and Tzitlalid Najera; her siblings, Cupertino Cortez, Valeriano Garcia Gomez, Carlos Alberto Diaz Gomez, Leticia Cortez, Columba Cortez Gomez and Catalina Cortez Gomez; and her grandson Angel Romero.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 31st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Carrillo Funeral Home - Tyler (3210 W NW Loop 323, Tyler, TX 75702). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 1st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints (2401 N Broadway Ave, Tyler, TX 75702). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 1st 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Evergreen Memorial Park (1310 W NW Loop 323, Tyler, TX 75706).
