She was predeceased by : her mother Opal Mackey; her husband Edward Murrell, Sr.; her brother Harold Everhart; and her children, Armondo Crow, Debra Hawley and Dewayne Burns.
She is survived by : her grandchildren, Aariona Bailey and Edward Murrell, III; her children, Michelle (Michael), Kevin, Damon, Valerie "Tootie", Michael Edward Jr. (Wanda), Clinton (Brenda) and Belinda; her sister Lawanda; and her grandchildren, Johnathan (Sheba), Terrence (Thressa), Chaniese and Da'Ashlaun "Da'. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren other relatives and friends.
A wake was held on Thursday, February 1st 2024 from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM at the Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas (4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM and at 8:30 PM at the Freedom Missionary Baptist Church (3715 S Westmoreland Rd, Dallas, TX 75233).
