He was predeceased by : his parents, Leonard Odis and Bertha Mae Smith Hodgson; his former life partner Mary Louise Baswell Hodgson; his children, Terry Hodgson and Miline Hodgson; and his siblings, Dovie Mathews, Lula Farra, Ann Hodgson, Odis S. Hodgson, Walter S. Hodgson of Floy Hodgson, B. C and Joe Hodgson.
He is survived by : his wife Susan Mashburn Hodgson of De Kalb, Texas; his granddaughters, Kim Hansche of Texarkana, Darica Hodgson of Texarkana, Kim Kinney (Kelly) of De Kalb and Kristy Taylor of Texarkana, Arkansas; his brothers, John (Sue Hodgson), Jimmy Hodgson of Gilmer and Lynn (Chris Hodgson); his great grandchildren, Shelby Hansche (Jacob), Hagen Power, Kaitlan Kinney, Klayton Kinney, Madison Atchley and Corbin Atchley; and his great great grandchild Elijah Lunsford. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 7th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (204 NW Fulton St, De Kalb, TX 75559). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
