It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenda Sue Collins of Itasca, Texas, born in Hillsboro, Texas, who passed away on February 1, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Marvin Jay and Annie Ruth Davidson (Boyce); her sisters, Sandra Kay Upchurch and Ruby Faye Upchurch; her granddaughter Veronica Sue Barnard; and her great grandchild Quinnley Kate Johns.
She is survived by : her children, Kelly Barnard, Toni Tinsley and Marvin Collins (Sambo); and her grandchildren, Casa Johns (Kyle), Justin Collins, Christi Peppers (Brian) and Colton Trent Sullins. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 8th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors - Hillsboro (2495 Corsicana Hwy, Hillsboro, TX 76645). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, February 9th 2024 at the Ridge Park Cemetery.
